Language Spec,/Regulated Industries?

Hi everyone,

Full disclosure, I'm new to Rust. But I love it, and it's promise. It's fast as sin, easy to write, small enough binaries. My only gripe is, it doesn't seem ready for regulated industry use. No Language spec, not ISO certified, yadda yadda.

I've seen the sealed Rust effort. But, what other steps exist? How can I get involved? Could NumFocus help us if we raise enough money?
