I have been botherd multiple times that most examples are not complete in the slice documentation. I went ahead and made a fork with what I would consider more complete documentation. It has an explicit check for the proper values for all the cases where there were already example secions.

Would there be any reason to not merge this change?

Here is my branch [GitHub - spencer3035/rust at improve-slice-doc](https://github.com/spencer3035/rust/tree/improve-slice-doc)

Edit: I submitted a PR here : [Improved slice documentation by spencer3035 · Pull Request #127668 · rust-lang/rust · GitHub](https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/127668)

Definitely an improvement. I've just approved it. Thanks!
