# Disambiguate method call for impl on dyn Trait

This [issue](https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/69161) is still blocking [Error source iterators](https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/58520) somehow. So, I thought I might steer your interest on it here.

I think the compiler should really automatically choose the `dyn Trait` implementation of the method automatically.

Additionally the language does not provide a way to manually do so.

Please remember that people working on Rust are mostly volunteers, and likely have different priorities than you. Someone will get around to the issue — there is no need to ask for an update frequently.
