Is it ub to call `Box::from_raw` to not heap

Hello. Imagine you have static mut in a special linker section. Then you are changing global allocator to ignore that pointer. In happy case, would it be UB? #[link_section = "static_box"] static mut ALLOC: MaybeUninit<Foo> = ...; #[global_allocator] { dealloc(ptr: *mut u8) { if ptr in "static_box" { return } ... } } let foo = Box::from_raw(&mut ALLOC); drop(foo)
