# 1.32.0 prerelease testing

The 1.32.0 prerelease is ready for testing. It’s scheduled to be released on Thursday the 17th (tomorrow). Release notes can be found here: [https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/blob/stable/RELEASES.md](https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/blob/stable/RELEASES.md). There was a bit of difficulty with one of the Windows builders which is why this prerelease announcement is a couple days late, but it’s been resolved now.

You can try it out locally with:

```bash
RUSTUP_DIST_SERVER=https://dev-static.rust-lang.org rustup update stable

```
